Announcing I Run 4/ Cure AHC Partnership
Cure AHC is proud to announce a fantastic opportunity for AHC families worldwide. We have created a partnership with I Run 4. I Run 4 is a non-profit that matches active adults (mostly runners ) with special needs children and adults. The match up creates a bond between athlete and “champion” in which they inspire each other. The athletes even fundraise for the particular special need their buddy has.
In this exciting new partnership, we are hoping to match as many families as possible with the hundreds of athletes I Run 4 has waiting for a match. Then the idea is to create a forum community for all our athletes and their AHC child and adult can inspire one another. From there we hope to motivate all these athletes to raise funds for AHC research through some organized events. Imagine hundreds of new advocates who are now personally connected to AHC! 6 year old Matthew, son of Cure AHC Co-Founders Jeff & Renee Wuchich, has his match and his buddy Nikole participated in the Declaration of Run Dependence IRun4 Virtual Event to benefit Cure AHC! We have some other fun (and fundraising) events (with prizes) planned for 2015!
To find out more, and to sign up your AHC Champion, visit the I Run 4 Website HERE. You’ll be able to identify AHC as the special need. They will let us know and we’ll take it from there. Let’s make 2014 a banner year for AHC awareness!
