As research continues to progress at a rapid pace and awareness helps to diagnose more and more AHC Champions globally, the needs for fundraising and logistics grow for Cure AHC. We have anticipated those needs and have increased the roster of our Board of Directors, adding key talent and networks to help us thrive in the years to come. Louis J Lafrado, Albuquerque, NM – Louis is a veterinary pathologist with a doctorate from The Ohio State University with a specialty in retroviral pathology and vaccine development. Since 2000, he has been president of L&D Associates Consulting Group, Inc in New Mexico which specializes in program development including grantmaking, program evaluation and research with nonprofit organizations and American Indian Tribes in health promotion and disease prevention. This experience will be brought to bear for Cure AHC as we develop a sustainable grant-funded program for AHC research and support efforts. Lou’s interests include hockey as a spectator and player and music as a guitarist and musician.
Mark V. Eberhard, Milton (Pensacola), FL
Mark is the GM/Managing Director of the strategy and business development consulting firm Po-Man LLC. He has held positions as a management consultant, business developer, and chief executive officer and president in the defense/aerospace, management consulting, and finance industries. He and his wife have four daughters. Mark is a retired U.S. Marine Reserve Lieutenant Colonel (Aviator), and a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). He holds Associates, Bachelors, and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from State University of New York (SUNY) Dutchess, Syracuse University, and Regis University respectively. He also holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University and is a candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Apologetics from Newburgh Theological Seminary.
